Hi,
On my AEon Ubuntu 12.04, the Ubuntu 14.04 'Trusty Tahr' update is available to download.

Does it work on X1000 ? Is someone still made the update ?

Thank you for advices

Guillaume,

Thank you for asking these questions. :-)

@All
This isn't an update for the A-EON Live Remix distribution. If you want to update your Remix installation, then update it to 12.04.5. ;-) Please look in the following thread: Ubuntu Live Remix DVD now in stock at AmigaKit. In addition, a new kernel is available for the Live Remix distribution: Ubuntu Live Remix DVD now in stock at AmigaKit. And there is a new SuperTuxKart package for the Remix distribution: Test version of SuperTuxKart 0.8.1 for the AmigaOne X1000.

Cheers,

Christian

I made the mistake and clicked on the button, so now when I try to boot Ubuntu it seems to work fine until I get to a login window, but it says my password is invalid when I try to enter it. Anyway to fix this or do I need to just reinstall 12.04?

Maybe not. Please press CTRL+ALT+F1 to change to the console login. Try to login. With CTRL+ALT+F7 you can change back to the login window.

I don't know if the console login works.

I was able to shift to the console login, but no luck there either. Finally ended up reinstalling 12.04 and doing the updates, but not the upgrade. :D

Hi!
Currently I am using kernel 3.15.10 and it works fine!
However, I want to use the more recent Libreoffice 4.3.
How can I update Libre Office 3.x and to the other upgraded programs with new features in Trusty Tahr?
