Canonical has released (L)Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS.
Important note for all A1-X1000 user:
You can update your existing (L)Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS installation without any problems.
But ...
Please do not update to the new "Hardware Enablement Stack". Why? You don't have any benefits with the new stack on your A1-X1000. The new stack includes a new X11 and Mesa 9.0.3 without any benefits for you. Mesa 9.0.3 doesn't support any Radeon HD 7000 series graphics cards because there isn't the RadeonSI driver in the package.
But if you need the new stack, you have to look for the packages with "-lts-quantal" at the end of the package name.Christian
