Hi All,

I have tested the AMD Radeon HD 7790 in my A1-X1000.

Test results:
  1. AmigaOS 4.1 doesn't boot
  2. Debian Sid works without 3D acceleration
  3. Lubuntu 14.04 boots and works without X11 (radeonsi driver doesn't load)
  4. Lubuntu 12.04.4 works without 3D acceleration
  5. Ubuntu 10.04.4 works without 3D acceleration
  6. SliTaz works with X11
  7. Fedora 17 works without 3D acceleration
  8. openSUSE 11.1 doesn't boot
  9. openSUSE 13.1 doesn't boot
I have testet all distributions with a lot of kernels.

The AMD Radeon HD 7790 is very quiet but it's not recommend to use this card with the A1-X1000 at this time.

Christian

Which version of RadeonHD.chip are you using?

@nbache

I have installed the latest driver v1.0 but the Radeon HD 7790 isn't supported by OS4.1 (http://hdrlab.org.nz/projects/amiga-os- ... atibility/).
Radeon HD 7790 (all models) Bonaire 1.0 Unsupported IMPORTANT: This card contains a Sea Islands GPU, which are currently not supported.
@All
I have compiled the latest Mesa 10.2.4 with the RadeonSI driver (llvmpipe 3.4.2). But it doesn't work on an AltiVec processor and on the R600g backend.

Just for info: The Radeon HD 7750 also doesn't boot on OS4.1. (Link).
