1080p videos and ATIRadeon.chip (bug ?)

I just tested a few 1080p videos on my Sam440 Flex (Radeon 9250)

On my system (i'm using a 1680*1050 resolution in my monitor) such video at 1920*1080 will be scaled to fit the screen, however actually some part of the video will not be rendered correctly, that means that a part of the video will have a strange white area instead of be fully displayed
According to Joerg this might be a bug or a current hardware limitation of the ATIRadeon.chip driver, pratically the overlay doesn't seems to work correctly if the width is larger than about 1520 pixels

Please testers can you add a new BZ/Enhancement request for this issue ?
