Is Radeon X1550 supported? I like Lubuntu as light Ubuntu with No Unity,
but can you please please please do something based on Ubuntu that comes with KDE, LXDE, XFCE or MATE (or everything )\
Ubuntu2D is slow even on X1000 and Radeon 6870 and 4GB ... we need some more speed n squeeze on SAM.

I will install Ubuntu SAM460x and Panthelope first and try to add what I need - I succeded on X1000,
only sadness is that removing Ubuntu 2D from Synaptic kills Ubuntu ...

And what about FEDORA 20 PPC32/64 - that is a way modern Linux?

I succeeded in installing it on X1000 - but no video driver for SAM460ex, my pro penguins will have to play with Terminal again

Lubuntu 14.04 doesn't work with my Sam460 2Gb ram, Radeon 4670 ddr3, when i boot from "CD Boot 2" after little time i get:

ERROR: Unknown Sense key 03 ASC 11 ASCQ 00
ATAPI ISSUE: (no DRQ) after sending ccb (a8) status 0xc0
WARNING: adjusting available memory to 10000000

°° Booting kernel from.... ecc ecc

after that my Sam460 reboot....


p.s. i have boot partition with SFS/00 and i installed Parthenope

Is it possibile to install Lubuntu with slb instead parthenope? If yes, can u explain to me the procedure?
