I'm learning for a Cisco training with the AmigaOne X1000 (MIPS CPU emulation with network simulation).

I only use Linux to play to SuperTuxKart.

All my others needs are filled by AmigaOS 4 ;)

I always wanted to run a production mud.
So one day instead of using a native version
I might set up a spare AmigaOne X1000 to do
this. Linux probably leads itself more to muds
because of fork() and what not

I'm trying to compile adtools and the Timberwolf sources.

@Steven
and the Timberwolf sources.
While offtopic, but maybe just put them on SF to meet TW bounty reqs, and let any 3d party devs spend their time on all those browsers ? I.e. anyone can help with, bounty reqs will be done as well as you will have no needs to worry about. Browsers stuff its always big problems, it always will have bugs, and you always will be forced to please unpleasant users with all kind of bugs in it. While if you will put it on SF, anyone can fix bugs, and you will have all your time for os itself, without worry about making all those "groups of ppls who have access to", and you will have no needs to explain outsiders why code is not open while bounty says so. After all, you (and those "special ppls who have access to TW code") can always works on it directly in SF as well with no probs, while all other pluses will be there after putting it on SF. You always can yourself be admin of SF project and accept only those ones who you want to accept.

Dumping Solaris (Oracle) who hates those with workstations these days. I am converting the source code from all the things we really care about at work to Linux. I chose Debian Wheezy so that as I finish I am the most confident that I haven't been sucked again into a "with our proprietary lock on you" again.

Conversion is not smooth so I know I'm learning a lesson.
