Is it normal for the Monitors tab in Prefs > Screenmode to be ghosted on a SAM460ex?
If not, is there something wrong with my Devs/Monitors?

On my system, the "Detect settings automatically" checkmark will ghost out all the manual settings when selected.
Perhaps that is selected on yours as well?

Here too, but i think what kilaueabart meant was that the whole tab "Monitors" is ghosted/not reachable for him.
He seems to be only able to work on the "Available Modes" tab
@kilaueabart
You can try to move PCIGraphics out of Devs/Monitors.
iirc it's only needed when using two vga cards(?)
At least i don't have it installed and it works with one card

Check the active tool type settings in the Radeon Monitor driver.
CMPLENGTH=6
BOARDNAME=Radeon
DDCMODE=All
and the PCIGraphics monitor driver
BOARDTYPE=PCIGraphics
CMPLENGTH=11
DDCMODE=All

@Spectre660
I changed Radeon from "BOARDNAME=PCIGraphics" to "...=Radeon."
As a result, that Monitors tab became selectable.
I can't find "BOARDTYPE" in PCIGraphics. If you meant "BOARDNAME," it is as you list.
@Raziel
Changing BOARDNAME seems to have had the effect of moving PCIGraphics out, so I guess I'll just leave it there.
@LyleHaze
Indeed, I had no way of getting at "Detect settings automatically" until I had done the above. I'm going to leave that guy checked; unchecked looks a bit scary (320x240@60D?). Now that I can get at ScreenMode > Monitors, I can't imagine why I would want to, but it is nice to know what was going on, so thanks to all three of you.
