Anyone else notice a speed increase with this W3D_Picasso96_lib_release 53.10 update and Intuition lib release 53.42 ?.
MuiOWB image loading feels faster on my Sam440ep-flex and Radeon HD5670 . I did not want to turn it off because it felt so much faster.
And I note that the Warp3d test program Cow3D is about 5 FPS faster on my Sam460ex and Radeon HD6670 .
From 57 FPS to 62 FPS.

All what i notice during testing, is that beetwen warp3d from update3 and that 53.10 version , i have speed increasing in LodePaint on 1fps, and in QuakeArena on 2 fps on my peg2/radeon9250. Nothing very radical, but still nice.

It may be more pronounced using the Radeon HD driver and slower machines. on the 460ex it equates to almost a 9% speed increase on the Cow3D test.
On the Sam440-ep Web browser pages seem to load faster .

I suspect it's nothing to do with W3D_Picasso96.library if you are using Cow3D on your RadeonHD via Wazp3D.

If you on RadeonHD, then warp3d update make no differences for you (as you use waZp3d), but some other components can somehow indirectly lead to speedup of WaZp3d, maybe .. Strange that you notice exactly after intuition update, its can be more logical if it was after some previous rtg.library update where Max add some DMA related code. To say more, intuition update should make no speed differences at all

One of the last 3 updates has increased performance by almost 9% on both of my machines. Just verified that the Hollywood test demo now gives up to 152 FPS on my Sam440ep-flex.
Up from 140 FPS before. Must be the intuition lib then .

Coud be related to the composite refresh functions. The Sam640ex goes from 535 FPS to 547 FPS on the Hollywood test. Same 12 FPS increase .

I thought we documented that the compositing refreshing was changed in the release notes... you're welcome.
