What preference will allow me to change the text from black to white for the hard drive icons on the 4.1u5 workbench?

Prefs/Font, the first of the five font selectors.

But it will affect all icons which are on the main Workbench (i.e. outside drawer windows), not just drives. So also e.g. left out icons (IIRC) and AppIcons.
