I think I might have been able to send this from adelie, if only I could remember my Hyperion password. My thumb drive seems to have died?

The kernel 6.11.0-alpha5 has a new NTFS3 driver by Paragon Software.

I successfully tested the new NTFS3 driver from the kernel 6.11.0-alpha5 today.

But I had to do it from fienix because I couldn't post from hyperion in adelie without logging in. All my passwords were on that drive, but I'm going to have to set up new ones again for all my sites. Bummer.

The merge window is over. Linus Torvalds has released the RC1 of kernel 6.11 for testing.

I compiled it for the X1000 and X5000 today.

Download and further information: github.com

I successfully tested the X5000 Linux kernel 6.11.0-rc1 with Adélie Linux 1.0-beta5 (20240623) in a virtual e5500 QEMU PowerPC machine.

I found out that rc1 works fine on fienix and adelie yesterday but had problems with documenting it and ran out of time
