According to the MintPPC forum you need to install install libdvdcss2_1.2.12-0.1_powerpc.deb from the multimedia repository to be able to play commercial DVDs.

How can i install it?
I don^t know not all over Linux

I have installed it but it doesn^t work .I can^t play encrypted DVD.DVD are playing but very very slow

Can somebody play encrypted DVD^s with Mint11?
I have tried much things .

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

but that doesn^t work too

I cannot create the install-css.sh

Can^t find the command

I solved my problem myself
You will not believe it
Last time i have cleaned my X1000 from dust.
I think have touched the sata cable from my DVD drive.
Now the cable is back inside the sata slot
DVD playing works now fine under Mint11

You might want to get some SATA cables of the type with the little snap locks on the plugs. It really makes a big difference! I used to have problems like that (especially with my Sam460ex), but not any more.

Type this in a root terminal
sudo dpkg --install /path/to/your/folder.deb
