Kernel 6.8 RC1 up and running fine on my AmigaOne X5000

For the X5000 users who might have issues with the onboard NIC, you could try to use the manual negotion settings as shown in the screenshot.

For curiosity, I tested those settings, but the the 'unplug-replug' issue is still present

. This is the 'longest-term-bug' I ever have seen in Linux kernels...

I agree that its a very strange issue..,, too bad the negotiation speed settings did not help.

I will give it a try later. But for me the DPAA Ethernet has been working fine for years. Al my 3 OSes work fine with the onboard DPAA Nic.
