Hi Musa,
Could you please check your CF card? The RC4 boots on my X1000. Maybe you need to reformat it. Did you boot with the zImage-5.12 or with vmlinux-5.12? Have you added "-z" to the CFE boot command line for the zImage?

I use usb disk for the kernel. Tried 2 different .Using vmlinux-5.12 not the zippet.
I'll try with a new formatted usbdisk. I'll return

Hi
I have tried 2 new formatted usbdisk and both zipped and not zipped
No luck
Then I tried on my cf0 disk and after a kernel panic on ubuntu16.04 I got luck with Fienix.

RC5 of kernel
5.12 for the X1000 and X5000 today.
New:
Download:
linux-image-5.12-rc5-X1000_X5000.tar.gz
Please test the kernels.

Hi
Fienix boot on 5.12-rc5. This time without the usb problem. The problem was fat32 . Made a 2 giga partition and format it with fat16 . I think fat 32 some times get corrupted. Even new formatted.

Yes, there are some issues with FAT32 boot partitions on CF cards and USB sticks. FAT16 is better.
