Only shortened file names and directories names and added the serial console output.
Same kernel and ramdisk as the previous version .

You cant have more than 16 partitions so no more than 13 and some free space before your start the install wich adds 3 more
Regarding serial output, still there is nothing on serial except information coming from Uboot..

I am trying to install to a seperate SSD (which was already installed with Ubuntu)...However installer fails when creating ext2 and ext3 partitons.

This worked before with Ubuntu installations on same SSD, it is another strange thing that I am having that problem.

Serial output is working for me with this version of the Jessie installer .
I have not experimented with installing on a second hard drive for a long time .
I have Jessie and Lubuntu 14.04 as well as a test installation of Lubuntu on my single harddrive.
Maxed out to the 16 partions that work with Linux.

Spectre and Xeno,

Do you pretend that I would use your last kernel 3.18.14 in place of 4.0.2?

I have a sam flex and debian.

You can still use the 4.0.2 kernel .
Currently kernels above 4.0.2 have problems on the Sam460ex unless you use vga output for the graphics card. Not sure about the Sam440ep.
Also the 3.19.x branch will not be continued so I updated on the 3.18.x branch to make sure nothing has been introduced that causes any problems .

Reconfigured Sam460ex 3.18.14 Kernel .
4 versions. Generic and special versions for Southern Islands,Evergreen/Northern Islands and RV 600-770 cards
Seems a bit faster to me :D .

Thank you Christian.

Thanks to the reverting of a patch in the Radeon HD audio that I reported on the DRI devel mailing list
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/d ... 82893.html
Kernel 4.1.0-rc6 now boots on Sam460ex with DVI video output.
The previous rc's caused an oops.HDMI output still causes an oops but I see that Alex Deucher has a patch for kernel 4.2 .
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linu ... 7907ae866d
I will keep on it as long as it takes to have the HDMI working.
Nice to see the Kernel devs responding to isssues found with our powerpc hardware. :D
I guess that the trick is to do the git bisect and then report the issue with the bisect information.
