Thanks a lot for testing the RC3! I was curious because of the latest
DPAA updates but they seem to work on your X5000.

The DPAA Network adapter has been working great!
I think that Kilaueabart has been also using his DPAA adapter for quite some time now.
All fine, i am happy!

RC3 working here, too.

As for DPAA, it works fine as far as I can tell. Dmesg greps mine a bit different to Skateman's.

Hi kilaueabart,
My guess is that you are using an older version of U-boot that cant read the MAC addressess of your onboard ethernet adapter.
That i think is why Linux is defaulting to a random MAC address as it shows: Using random MAC address: 32:bd:c3:b1:21:e2
You can check you systeminfo in U-boot and see if there are Mac addresses shown.
It not a big issues since your network adapter is working after all.

I successfully tested the
RC3 of kernel
5.10 on my X5000/20 with a MorphOS compatible hardware configuration today.

- A-EON AmigaOne X5000/20
- ATi Radeon X1950 PRO Extreme
- Creative Soundblaster LIVE Player 1024
- DPAA onboard ethernet

The onboard ethernet still needs the unplug/replug trick.
If I don't replug the network cable then "nmcli dev status" reports:

I think that you are still using an internal PCI ethernet adapter as well.
Maybe this PCI card is seen as the Default ethernet adapter and the network managers starts with this card enabled..
kilaueabart and I dont have any internal PCI adapters in use if i recall correctly.
What if you got rid of the PCI ethernet adapter, Reboot the machine at least twice.?

I have had this unplug/replug issue from the beginning, but removing the PCI ethernet adapter did _not_ solve the problem.
