I was looking for our kernel DRM error ("radeon: ring 0 test failed (scratch(0x8504)=0xCAFEDEAD)") on Google, and it seems that we are not the only ones having such an error.
See this guy with a Freescale P1022 CPU and a RadeonHD:

Yeah. I bought a second hand P1022 board, last year. I have the same problem with the Radeon HD card like you.

Just tried a Kernel 3.0.1 and the same problem exists since at least that version (2011).

Working on test versions of the Sam460ex 3.19.0 kernel .
Trying to tweak the configuration a bit.

Checked. Works fine, but did not notice any difference from the last kernel 3.19 with firmware included.

Mainly Just some adjustments to unused built in drivers. Trying to free up some space.

New Kernel 3.19.1 at the same link as the last post.
This one now loads the radeon microcode for the Radeon HD7750 properly.
Stil no working HDMI audio with the Radeon 7750 thought.
will have to make a new installer so some one with a Radeon HD 7750 is able to install a Linux distribution without swapping video cards.
