With old distributions ( Debian 8, old wheezy-based MinPPC ) I am using kernel 5.5
I have it plan to use with newer distros ( Fienix, Debian 12/Sid, new MintPPC ) kernel 6.1. But I found there, that it has some booting issues with X1000.
I tested 6.1 and it has very strange behaviour. It boots mostly OK, but sometimes on login screen I cannot wrote login or passsword.

And my X1000 has another boot issue. This time it is not connected with any kernel.
I have in CFE env variables for boot menu. If I select any linux ( old or new distro ), it show reading kernel, but then stucks.
BUT: if I interrupt CFE menu with "F" and go to commandline, then I type "menu" and return to the same menu what I interrupted before, I can normally select any menu item, and it boots without issues
