Hi All,

The latest Thunderbird for ubuntu MATE 17.04 PowerPC is the version 45.3.0 (August 30, 2016) but it is possible to use the new version 45.6.0 from Debian Sid/experimental PowerPC.

I solved all dependencies and uploaded it today.

Sad news.

Lubuntu has removed the daily build ISO for PowerPC. The daily build ISO for ubuntu MATE 17.04 PowerPC is still available.

I do a lot of advertising for the PowerPC platform on the ubuntu MATE google+ and Facebook page. I hope I can postpone the dropping of ubuntu MATE PowerPC.

I will update my installed development version of ubuntu MATE 17.04 as long as possible. After that I will try to release an unofficial ubuntu MATE 17.04 USB img with the latest Firefox, Thunderbird, and some nice wallpapers for the X5000 and X1000.

It is still possible to upgrade ubuntu MATE 17.04 PowerPC. Maybe we have luck and we can release an unofficial ubuntu MATE 17.04 PowerPC for our NG Amigas. Of course we have to use another name for it. What do you think about "MATE PowerPC Remix 2017"?
