NGFS is intended to replace the aging FFS with a new, modern file system. It is intended to be released with OS 4.2 for all NG platforms.

The "Interim version" was released with the X5000 installation as an alternative to SFS. The interim version will run only on the X5000 and A1222.

Nowadays the current version of NGFS is much more mature and reliable than the old original interim version. As explained above, the current version is no longer compatible with the old version and betatesters have already upgraded.

Any X5000 owner who wants to upgrade their "interim" version, contact me. The new "interim" version, while up-to-date, will still only run on an X5000 or A1222.

Mmm this means that there is a trace of something in development called AmigaOS 4.2? ... I thought we would be stuck with AmigaOS 4.1 updates... I would expect (hope) a public release of NGFS in an upcoming 4.1 fix collecting update

Nothing new - there has been since after 4.1 was originally released.

I was expecting this, i hope the latest NGFS will be released for everyone with the next 4.1 update

Is there any possibility to have the latest version of NGFS for everyone with the upcoming Final Edition Update 3 ?

"everyone" refers to x1000 and older ng hardware users as well?
