That's really weird about IBrowse, I can't remember the last time it crashed on me

Then again, my default setting is Java disabled, perhaps this makes my experience suitably stable

Wierd. For me TuneNet is VERY stable (when playing MP3s anyway - I have a sneaking suspicion playing certain MODs can cause OS instability).

But I *do* find that Timberwolf (beta) is a bit unstable, sometimes works great for ages, othertimes it can freeze. Occasionaly it appears to crash OS4. So I would highly recommend using MUI-OWB instead: It is very stable (except for instant crash if you accidentally press LAmiga-B).

As others said, AmigaOS4.1 is pretty stable as long as you learn to avoid the few buggy programs which crash.

Could it be other stuff you all have installed.

As my fresh setups, I have never experienced any of the issues you all see to be.
I can open programs as many times as I like, leave them running etc etc.

I believe that the current AmigaOS 4.1 is more stable as ever. Any crashes I get I think it's from 3rd party programs and not entirely OS related.

As for iBrowse I don't get any crashes, but it's advised to disable javascript. Enabling javascript will increase the possibilities of Guru messages, but that happened under 68k as well.

I have a little problem with TuneNet though. After a couple of hours of playing in the background, when I try to close down the application nothing happens. This happens mostly if TuneNet is iconified.
