Samba AD domain: Provisioning of a Windows 2016 DC:
Actually a Windows 2016 DC can't join a Samba AD domain with a Samba AD DC which is also the SchemaMasterRole owner because the Windows 2016 DC needs the Windows management instrumentation (WMI) protocol for several tasks. Unfortunately Samba doesn't support WMI.
To work around the problem, you require a Windows Server 2008 DC in the domain which is also the SchemaMasterRole owner to join the first 2016 DC.

Network connection between an e5500 PowerPC QEMU guest and a x86 Hyper-V guest.
The MATE PowerPC Remix with the X5000 Linux kernel 5.12-alpha5 is running in an e5500 PowerPC QEMU machine and Windows Server 2016 is running in a x86 Hyper-V machine. QEMU is connected via the tap device to the host and Hyper-V is connected via a switch to the host as well. The network packets are routed between the tap device and the virtual switch by the host.
