With dpkg -i for example. You can also use the static 10.04 package.

Thanks for your advice! Got it to work.

The sad thing is that the Bookmark Toolbar still doesn't work, at least for me. Have you been able to fix it with some trick? Wicknix said he has not been able to replicate the issue and has no idea what is causing it.

I don't need to fix it because it works. I can create, move, and delete bookmarks on the toolbar.

Earlier in this thread you reported having the same problem with Arctic Fox 27.9.13... Since when did it start to work for you?

Could you possibly send me a sample bookmark backup file (.json) from a working setup...? I could then check whether it works in my system, and try to build a new Bookmarks Toolbar on that basis.

Creating bookmarks directly on the 'top level' of Bookmarks Toolbar works also for me. But I cannot get the directories work, so that there would really be menus with titles. I have tried to crete them from scratch and import from other browsers but no luck. As soon as there are custom directories, Toolbar is not shown (only an empty space).

I tried to compile the new alpha version of Arctic Fox 27.10.2 on Ubuntu 10.04.4 PowerPC today but without any success. Any ideas? The version 27.10.1 compiles without any problems on Ubuntu 10.04.4 PowerPC.

I solved the issue. I copied the src directory to my AmigaOne X1000. After that I was able to link the Arctic Fox 27.10.2a binary. I am very happy. The problem was my virtual PowerMac. It doesn't have enough power to link the new Arctic Fox binary.
