5.18a3 is working OK. Meanwhile I am attaching my the illustration for my report on a2 which I find a bit interesting.

I wish my computer wasn't "too slow," but I suppose I just have to live with it.

alpha4 of kernel
5.18 for the X1000 and X5000 today.

Download:
linux-image-5.18-alpha4-X1000_X5000.tar.gz
Please test the kernels.

The Linux
5.18 merge window has been closed. The
RC1 of kernel
5.18 is available for the X1000 and X5000.
New:
Download:
linux-image-5.18-rc1-X1000_X5000.tar.gz
Please test the kernels.

I can't tell whether 5.18RC1 is working on my newer void or not:

Fienix, ubuntu, and the original Void all say the new kernel is OK:
