Hi All,
The merge window for the kernel
6.19 has been started and here is the
first alpha with the first
DRM updates for testing.
Download and further information:
github.com
The Radeon HD 7xxx graphics cards, including the Rx 300 series, have been moved from the old Radeon driver to the AMDGPU driver.
Our kernel packages don’t have the AMDGPU driver because it doesn’t have big endian support. (byte swapping of firmwares)
I think you use the fbdev driver for the 7xxx cards.
Please test the kernels with your Radeon graphics cards.
Thanks,
Christian

I successfully tested the
alpha1 with my
Radeon HD5870 and with my
Radeon HD6870 today.
Hardware 3D acceleration works well with both cards.
Please test the
alpha1 with your Radeon card.
