Many thanks to Skateman, Kilaueabart, Musa, Hypex and Trevor for testing the alphas and release candidates.

Tested the 6.15 RC7 on Xenial, Zesty, Fienix and Debian. Working well. But like other kernels does have the random reboot stall. Wonder if this relates to old CFE bug where it stops on reboot. Shutting down is mostly reliable from kernel.
