I got Kernel 6.14 RC7 running a couple days ago but I couldn't report it from Adelie because none of the browsers there knew my Hyperion password.

This is apparently only the second time I have been on my X5000 since March 5th! I've had a lot to do on the internet recently and need a fairly fast browser.

My lib/modules now contains 6.15.0-a2-powerpc64-smp-gacb4f33713b9-dirty, but my system monitor says I am still running 6.14.0-rc7. Isn't that a bit odd?

You have copied the wrong kernel.

Please try: linux-image-6.15.0-alpha2-X1000_e5500.tar.gz
