Thanks a lot for testing!

Tested 5.8rc5 with Ubuntu 16... No issues seen, except that onboard ethernet did not start at all (not even with the unplug-replug method). RTL8169 worked ok.

Kernel 5.8 RC5 up and running fine on my AmigaOne X5000. Also the onboard Ethernet adapter seems to be fully functional.

Thanks a lot for testing the RC5! Could you please disable the network manager and test the DPAA Ethernet with the non-patched test kernels?

Tested 5.8 rc6... Works with Ubuntu and Fienix, except that with Ubuntu the onboard ethernet is not activated at all and with Fienix only with the 'unplug/replug' trick.
