In the interface file (DEVS;Interfaces) you can add DEBUG=YES, BTW can you post here yout interface config?
Code: Select all
ROADSHOW/ADDNETINTERFACE
...
DEBUG/K (possible parameters: YES or NO)
You can enable debug output for this interface (don't worry,
you can always disable it later) to help in tracking down
configuration problems. At this time of writing, the debug
mode will, if enabled, produce information on the progress of
the DHCP configuration process.
...
or maybe using C:NetLogViewer and/or "c:CheckRoadshowConfig VERBOSE"

Also I wanted to try to run some cli command like wget and I get this error and nothing in reported in Network log

So no DNS resolv seems.
"ping
www.google.es" does work or give you same error?
Not sure, but DHCP should "add" DNS entries? ¿:-/ I use static IP setting.
Code: Select all
#c:ShowNetStatus
Resumen del Estado de la Red
Local IP Address = 192.168.1.204 (en interfaz 'eth0')
Default Gateway = 192.168.1.1
DNS Servers = 8.8.8.8
What do you have in Internet Prefs NameResolution? That option/entry saves DNS in "DEVS:Internet/name_resolution".
#type DEVS:Internet/name_resolution
# DEVS:Internet/name_resolution
# File generated by Internet 53.3 (1.8.2011)
# On Miércoles, 28-May-25 at 13:41:07
nameserver=8.8.8.8

I think I solved, I did not restart the system after fixing services file; restaring now it seems all is working, let me perform some checks.

I can confirm the issue was solved removing the duplicate entries in DEVS:Internet/service file.
Thank you.

Actually, as I just found out, Update 3 installs (among other things) a services file in SYS:Storage/Devs/Internet/ which seems (after a quick look, not a real test) to have those duplicates fixed. Its filedate is 13-May-2025.
@MazinKaesar, if you had not made any changes yourself to your services definitions, you might want to try copying that file from Storage/Internet to Devs/Internet and see if that (also) fixes your problem, this would be interesting to know.
Why that file hasn't been installed in Devs during the installation of Update 3, well I guess it's because if people did make changes to their services definitions, they would have lost them. But it might have been a good idea to at least mention in the Changes guide that such a fixed file existed, and that users can either copy it in themselves, or they can make the changes themselves with the fixed file (and diff) as help.
Then again, I'm not really sure that this is the real cause behind your problems, as I am using the old services file with the duplicates in both my beta test installations and my public ones without having these issues.
Best regards,
Niels

As soon there are no duplicated entries, it seems it works fine even with the service file provided in Update3 package.
I can't tell you so far if the cause of the issue is any one duplicate entry or a specific one.

If you are able to investigate that at some point, it could be really useful to know which particular service duplication creates the problem. As I said, I can't reproduce the problem here (I also tried on my Sam460LE in addition to my main X1000), even with the file with some duplicates, but of course we can't be sure we have exactly the same duplicates. And also, we might have differences in our network usage or the configurations outside the home network (i.e. at the ISP), which might be sensitive to such a situation.
Best regards,
Niels
