Yeah, I should have mentioned that above: There is no Prefs page or other GUI in AmigaOS to display the various definitions implied by selecting a particular country.
I guess those who made Locale prefs etc. back then more or less took it for granted that when a country has a national standard for date formats, currency etc., then that would be the one people wanted when they selected that country in Locale prefs.
This was probably a bit naive or at least a slight over-simplification.
But that's what we got and still have.
Rolling your own private country file variant is of course a possibility if you have the tools and the know-how, but if there is a de facto error (e.g. your country has a different official standard than the one your country file defines), it would be nice if you reported this, with references to the standard material in question, so the change can be made for everybody in a future version.
