That looks better. Well done. when patching in the future try the following:xeno74 wrote:Hi Darren,
Thank you for your answer. You're right with the patch of patch_sigmatel.c. I've created a new patch and a new kernel
Downloads:
kernel-3.9.0-2-x1000.tar.gz
nemo_3.9v2.patch.tar.gz

Thank you for your hint.daz wrote: Well done. when patching in the future try the following:
patch -p1 -s <patch-file
the -s prevents patch from printing out successfully patched files, it will then be easier to see failed patches. (If there are any)
Thats how I patch, and I somes do a dry run as well.

Darren

The patch is for building the kernel. You need only "kernel-3.9.0-2-x1000.tar.gz". Please copy the kernel to the cf card. And copy the modules directory (3.9.0X1000) to /lib/modules.328gts wrote:

Code: Select all
OpenGL Renderer : Mesa DRI R200 (RV280 5960) PowerPC 64/Altivec TCL DRI2
Which Linux distribution would you like to install?328gts wrote:@xeno74
Ok thankscan you also recommend the most stable ISO to work with this kernel
Most stable one meaning one that I won't have to waste time reinstalling again for a while LOLxeno74 wrote:Which Linux distribution would you like to install?328gts wrote:@xeno74

I recommend Lubuntu 12.04.2 LTS. It's very stable and has 3d acceleration. It also has new Mozilla software like Firefox 22.0 and Thunderbird 17.0.7. If you install Lubuntu then the X1000 feels like a PC.328gts wrote:Most stable one meaning one that I won't have to waste time reinstalling again for a while LOLxeno74 wrote:Which Linux distribution would you like to install?328gts wrote:@xeno74
