I released the alpha7 of kernel 7.4 today.
Pulseaudio can't enable sound devices anymore on Void PPC. The output via ALSA works. Tested with the onboard HDA ATI SB sound device, Soundblaster LIVE Player 1024 PCI card, AMD HDMI audio and with USB audio. Strangely enough Pulseaudio can enable the sound devices on MintPPC32. I think the latest sound updates are responsible for the issue on Void PPC.

Hi Dave,

Thanks a lot for testing.

I really need your help.

Does your sound device work with the alpha7-2?

Could you also please test the alpha7-3 because of the sound issues?

Thanks,
Christian
