ascii.datatype source code

Hello,

I need to modify ascii.datatype just a little.

There’s some source code on the Wiki on Writing datatypes:

But how to compile a datatype like ascii.datatype?

Does it need a library structure somewhere with a Resident structure to form a module?

I would like to display from right to left.

Help needed because there’s few complete source to executable? or library module on Wiki.

They are just libraries like any other.

Best option is to look at some example source, eg https://aminet.net/package/util/dtype/binary_dt_os4
