Re: MintPPC
The old versions of SeaLion are working without any problems.mintppc wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2026 11:30 am Install the following packages and try again.

I can compile the latest version with mach build but mach run doesn’t start SeaLion for Linux PPC64.
Re: MintPPC
Maybe ppc64 SeaLion can only be built in an old Linux environment, like the one you use for powerpc. If I remember correctly, you used to build them in old Fedora ppc64.
Re: MintPPC
Yes, I built it on Fedora 28 PPC64 before but unfortunately it doesn’t start either. The compiling itself works but it doesn’t start.mintppc wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2026 1:19 pm Maybe ppc64 SeaLion can only be built in an old Linux environment, like the one you use for powerpc. Re: MintPPC
I would file a bug report, maybe wicknix has an answer to why it is not working.
Re: MintPPC
For MintPPC64 there is SeaLion 34.1.1 and Arctic-Fox 47.2-2. No worries.
Re: MintPPC
Isn't there anymore available Firefox-ESR for Debian/Mint PPC64?xeno74 wrote: Wed Jul 08, 2026 11:20 am I can compile the Linux PPC64 version of SeaLion but unfortunately it doesn't start. I don’t see any error messages during the start of SeaLion.
