Here is Fienix with Vmlinux-6.5_rc2. Running fine.
Thanks a lot for testing! :-)
musa wrote: Fri Jul 21, 2023 9:29 pm As you can see cpu is running as not more than 20% but in Debian 64 , x1000 cpu is running constantly above 90%.
Oh dear. I will wait with upgrading my Debian64.

Please use the top command to see which process is responsible for the high CPU load.

OK, I see. Systemd is responsible for the high CPU load.

Hi
I got Debian 32 up and running again and booted on 6.5_rc2.
Unfortunately debian 32 has the same bug as debian 64 with systemd.
Everything is so slow and therefore I can't take a screenshot.
I can update and hope that there will be a solution in time.
I can see der is a update of systemd to day.
Have a nice day

I tested the RC3 of kernel 6.5 with my non-updated Debian Trixie/Sid PPC64 today. The kernel works without any problems with Debian Trixie/Sid PPC64.

That means, it isn't a kernel issue.

Hi
Kernel linux-6.5_rc3 boot debian 64/32. Here on debian 64.
There have been several updates to systemd, but the speed problem still exists.
Have a nice day

I successfully updated systemd on Debian PPC64 today. Strange, there aren't any speed problems with the new systemd on my X1000.
