Had finally an opportunity to test RC4/RC5 with the onboard ethernet... If I start Linux (Fienix or Ubuntu) with the onboard ethernet socket connected to internet (via optical fiber modem), there is no connection created. But if I then unplug and replug the ethernet cable, net connection is created and seems also to work.

I noticed that the DPAA works also with Kernel 5.5 with this unplug/replug method! Just run a big bunch of Fienix updates, no problems with the connection... So it seems to me the DPAA itself is working ok, the problem is to get it to connect during Linux bootup.

I have now tested the DPAA with the latest 2018 Uboot, but the connection is _not_ created during Linux bootup. I still have to use the 'replug method' to get the connection to work. So, even RC4/RC5 did not solve completely the problems with DPAA!

Hi Roland,

Good to hear the the DPAA is working, but to bad you have to do the disconnect reconnect trick..... Hope this can be solved as well.
The positive thing is that the adapter is usable and the data keeps flowing through the adapter. This was the original problem with the DPAA adapter.
Network traffic died after a few moments.

Kernel 5.6 RC6 is running fine on the AmigaOne X5000.

Tested RC6... It still has the same issue with DPAA - connection is not created automatically, I have to replug the cable.
