Nevertheless, the slowdown are presents not only in DVPlayer but in whole system in the case explained earlier.

The problem with two installed gfx card is fixed.
Yes I will try FE clean install, one time with Radeon 1.2 driver and one time with 2.4 driver.

Of course since you don't use overlay. Overlay is now buggy (tearing and slowdowns) with the new graphics.library.

No need to try DvPlayer with a Radeon HD, it will be ok since it's overlay that is causing troubles. On the Radeon HD, you will not use overlay. It will just be slower than if you were using a Radeon 9xxx.

I experienced a sort of stutter/freeze with video playback when using a pcie CMI8738 card.
I had not noticed this before with my previous Sam460ex motherboard (up to Jan 2014) .
No problem with the onboard sound or the Envy24 based pcie cards though.
