Happen to be a bit confused, but noticed that AmigaOS 4.1 Final provides a new RTG monitor driver (settings) that is in SYS:Storage/Monitors.
I have been using the RadeonHD 6670 monitor settings in SYS:Devs/Monitors under AmigaOS 4.1 Update 6.
The question is: Should i use the new RTG monitor settings instead, by placing its' icon into SYS:DEVS/Monitors?
I thought of using it because of the mentioned on-chip DMA support.
Sorry for being a bit confused, but it would help to know for sure.
Using RTG or RadeonHD 6670 monitor driver in FE?

DMA only works with a Radeon card, the driver in storage should stay there.

Meaning that the RadeonHD monitor driver is the only one to use, leaving all others in SYS:Storage/Monitors.sundown wrote:DMA only works with a Radeon card, the driver in storage should stay there.
