I always secretly hoped you will do such stunt and improve SAM460ex user experience. Can you make
some Linux that comes with KDE, LXDE or XFCE, since I kind of hate Unity and if its removed by Synaptic Ubuntu crashes?

First of all many thanks to spectre660 for all the hard work on the kernels and installation to make it possible for the installation of linux on the sam460ex.

Well the Last time i used linux ppc was about 8 years ago experimenting getting it working with the cyberstormPPC but since then i have come off the linux track, so i was wondering if you have time or another Sam 460ex user can put me back on track please.

I already have a SSD 64gb hd for AOS 4.1 which i dont wish to change, so i would like to put another SSD 64gb in just for the Linux installation. Could someone explain exactly how i should go about this, so that i can boot from Aos4.1 or linux using their own executive HD,s.

My system Amiga500 one 2x ssd 64 gb 2gb Ram, HD5450,4 port sata, Eny24ht pciex sound Card,dvd RW.

Looking forward after so many years to get back to Linux.

Where can I find/download #3 or/and #4 of SAM460ex's ubuntu 12.04 netinstall ISOs?
Can I upload'em on my web site with the HowTo guide html?

Tested latest kernel 13.3rc7 IIRC and working fine on my SAM460.
Where to find the (SAM460ex) kernel sources so I can try to compile/create asfs.ko?
