First of all: Thank you so much for all your efforts in creating OS 3.2! It's really really great and there are so many details that let you feel the passion you guys put into it, THANKS!
I successfully installed it on my A500+ with ACA500plus and the installation procedure is really smooth and well done.
After that, I went on in creating a superkickstart disk for my A3000. I have done this before succesfully with Kickstart 3.1.4, attaching the needed bonuscode and such. Unfortunately this didn't work out with 3.2. This is what I did and maybe somebody can point out what I did wrong:
- I took the kickstart file from the following location: AmigaOS3.2CD:/ROM/kicka3000.rom
- I took the same 2.x bonuscode file I used the last time with 3.1.4
- I joined the two files to create the new superkickstart file
- I wrote the new file to a blank disk using the tool MakeSuperDisk from Aminet (http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/MakeSuperDisk)
Spot anything wrong? I retried doing exactly the same with Kickstart 3.1.4 and the procedure still worked there.
And as a suggestion for the future: maybe you could include an ADF for the A3000 superkickstart disk and the corresponding kickstart file for HD use, that would be most splendid and probably not too much additional trouble, I guess...
Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
Michael
