Re: Fienix ssd
Did you copy the whole USB stick to an empty hard disk?

Re: Fienix ssd
Hi thank you for the relpy. It’s copied over from aolt usb stick.problem seems to be resize. It says sda 1 and sda2. Sda2 says fienix-soar. But it’s only 5gig partition that is copied over.the ssd is a 1 terabyte drive.there are no other partitions on the drive .can use the whole ssd type drive makes no difference. But how to get this done thanks again.
Re: Fienix ssd
You can use GParted from the booted AOTL Fienix USB stick for enlarging the partition and resizing the root file system (fienix-soar).Tijatjj wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 5:04 am Hi thank you for the relpy. Re: Fienix ssd
Hi anyone know what this error means . Hi getting errors trying to boot to hd.did not use root delay as per instructions.
Says check root delay, check root, did it wait long enough or the right device.another is missing modules. And then ALERT LABEL=FIENIX-DISK does not exist ,dropping to a shell? Totally clueless thanks for help in advance.Happy Holidays to all

Re: Fienix ssd
Did you boot with an initial ramdisk (uInitrd)? You need to boot with an initial ramdisk if you want to use a label.Tijatjj wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 12:27 am Hi anyone know what this error means . Hi getting errors trying to boot to hd.did not use root delay as per instructions.
