For the X5000 users who might have issues with the onboard NIC, you could try to use the manual negotion settings as shown in the screenshot.
AmigaOne X5000 -> 2GHz / 16GB RAM / Radeon RX 570 / Radeon X1950 / M-Audio 5.1 -> AmigaOS / Linux
Amiga 1200 -> Recapped / 68ec020 ACA 1221ec / CF HDD / RetroNET connected to the world

For curiosity, I tested those settings, but the the 'unplug-replug' issue is still present :-(. This is the 'longest-term-bug' I ever have seen in Linux kernels...

I agree that its a very strange issue..,, too bad the negotiation speed settings did not help.

Many thanks for testing the RC1!

Strange issue with the DPAA Ethernet.

Could you also please test the DPAA Ethernet with the stable longterm kernel 5.10.208?

OK, good to know.

Skateman, does the DPAA Ethernet works for you with the stable longterm kernel 5.10.208?

I will give it a try later. But for me the DPAA Ethernet has been working fine for years. Al my 3 OSes work fine with the onboard DPAA Nic.
