Just now running alpha1. Will download alpha2 now and try to report on it before the day is over. At least I have the boot script ready this time, with no typos (like ":" for ";".

Hi All,

I compiled the alpha3 yesterday. Unfortunately Xorg doesn't work on the X1000 and X5000 anymore. It works in a virtual e5500 QEMU machine.

I think the latest DRM updates are responsible for this issue.

The biggest problem is, that I don't have time for bisecting and fixing this issue.

Oh dear, there is another issue after the latest PowerPC updates. The X5000 doesn't boot anymore.

Error messages:

Code: Select all

Oops: Exeption in kernel node, sig: 4 [#1]
...
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00000004
Unfortunately we have two issues at the same time. We are knocked out and unfortunately I don't have any time for bisecting.
