It seems the boot issues are fixed.

Link: GIT kernel with the PowerPC updates 5.11-1 doesn't boot on a FSL P5040 board and in a virtual e5500 QEMU machine

I will compile the alpha8 with the PowerPC fixes 5.11-2.

I checked out the branch 5.11-2 fixes from the PowerPC Git:

Hi All,

I released the alpha8 of kernel 5.11 for the X1000 and X5000 today.

New:

PowerPC fixes 5.11-2. These fix the boot issue of the X5000 and the virtual e5500 QEMU machine.

The Linux 5.11 merge window has been closed. The RC1 of kernel 5.11 is available for the X1000 and X5000.
