Hi All,

I released the RC3 of kernel 5.9 for the X1000 and X5000 today.

New:
Download: linux-image-5.9-rc3-X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Please test the kernels.

By golly, rc3 seems to work on my machine too! I was going to add a screen dump to prove it, but lately attempts to add an attachment get me this message:

Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.
An interesting difference between this and the first version of rc2 which I had used for a couple days is that I no longer have to type in "ffienix" to log in. Rc2 regularly ignored the first "f."

Hi All,

Here is the RC4 of kernel 5.9 for testing.

New:
Download: linux-image-5.9-rc4-X1000_X5000.tar.gz

I successfully tested the X5000 Linux kernel 5.9-rc4 with Fienix Soar 3.0-2020608 in an e5500 based virtual QEMU machine today.
