The dreaded Linux installer. LOL. And yet there is another update already. Would this be a graphical installer? I should probably pack up all my Debian A1 installer files and send them to you or upload them. They may be dated now. But I made a preseed and scripts to control the process as cleanly as possible and install a working system. Though it would need updating for X1000/X5000.caseycullen wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 10:30 pm Hey everyone,
Just a quick update: Unfortunately I haven't had as much time to spend on the Fienix project lately, but I've spent some time working on a proper installer. A few people have been good enough to donate to the project, which is really exciting, and the request from all of them has been an installer. Not sure when it will be done, but I think something based on ubiquity will work.
Thanks!

Re: Fienix - New PowerPC Distro
So far I've based off Debian Installer newt interface. I can get it to install the base system and as far as setting up sources.list. I'm not sure what's going wrong at that point and the error log isn't very helpful. Anything you think might be helpful is much appreciated!Hypex wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 5:30 pmThe dreaded Linux installer. LOL. And yet there is another update already.
