FYI the ethernet was probed and worked correctly when we used the Freescale linux SDK to build kernels, so a fix is possible, we just don't know what it is yet.

Could you please release your latest Freescale kernel?

You'll already have a copy, it was based on linux kernel 3.12 (IIRC) and we stopped using it once Cyrus got added to mainline. The Freescale SDK hasn't been updated since 2017, latest is 2.0 based on 4.1.35

The MAC addresses are populated by u-boot, which currently for me dates back to the beta program, with 2014.mumble. Where can I find u-boot updates for Cyrus?

Amigakit should be able to supply them..
AmigaOne X5000 -> 2GHz / 16GB RAM / Radeon R7 250 / M-Audio 5.1 -> AmigaOS 4.1 FE / Ubuntu Linux
Amiga 1200 -> Recapped / 68ec020 ACA 1221ec / CF HDD / RetroNET connected to the world
