I also see the same thing with my wireless Logitech mouse: the mouse pointer stuck in the upper left of the screen and I cannot move it, just need to reboot.amigasociety wrote:Wireless mouse or usb cabled?daveyw wrote: Three times I have booted up and found the mouse has gone wonky. It won't move left or right, only up and down, and inverted (so moving the mouse forward moves the pointer down and vice-versa). Additionally, the screen is dragged with it. Only seen it three times so I haven't played around with using a different mouse. Have to reboot.
I experience this sometimes too, mouse cursor gets stuck upper top left on screen. If I move the mouse it barely moves but not in right direction and only left and right. I blame it on my wireless logitech mouse maybe conflicting with a 2nd exact same mouse I use on my linux box.

Or has nothing to do with it but I do get kinda what you get.

No Linux box or other hardware to interfer.
Mouse buttons still work.
It happens seemingly randomly. It can happen after a power on in the morning, or on a soft boot.
But infrequently enough that I gave up diagnosis, and just boot again. I don't think it has every happened on that second boot.
