LeaveOut & Put away a list of icons

It may already be possible tot do what the subject mentions.

I did try editing the .backdrop list, but till now i did not find a way to make that effective, except with a reboot.
The feature would be nice, since then you could switch "working environments" easily.
Having the icons of all the tools, documentation and ouput you are working on in one list, then loading it in .backdrop (if needed in each of the volumes concerned) and deleting htem glmbally later, and those changes being effective without reboot, ithat s the basic idea.

make the icons on the voume disappear, and i get a new icon dh1: appearing for a second or two: dh1: busy
