Thanks for info but.
You said : you have to copy the directory 5.10.102_A-EON_X1000_Nemo to the package

From where to where?

Thanks for helping me :)
Peter
It depends on if you want to create a package for other users or if you want to use it for your self.
If you want to use the kernel modules for you self on the same AmigaOne then you only need the following command:

Code: Select all

 make CROSS_COMPILE=powerpc-linux-gnu- ARCH=powerpc modules_install
If you want to use it on an other AmigaOne then you need the same command.

Code: Select all

 make CROSS_COMPILE=powerpc-linux-gnu- ARCH=powerpc modules_install
After that you copy the directory /lib/modules/5.10.102_A-EON_X1000_Nemo to the package. Then it would be good to delete the both symbolic links build and source because these symbolic links are increase the package siize.

Hi Christian
Thanks again for the info. (I get more knowledgeable)
Now I want to let it rest until I have my sam640 at home.
I can see that the boot system on the sam640 is something completely different than on the x1000.
Therefore, compiling the boot files is probably also different.
Talk to you later

Thanks Christian.
It's a really weird thing. The whole problem came from the small coin battery. I had problems for a long time and decided to change the battery. It helped briefly and then the machine died completely.
I no longer thought about the battery. Recently, another amiga man suggested that I take out the battery and measure how many volts were on.
I did so and there was 0.25 v. I put a new one in again and then the machine started. I did not believe my own eyes. It took some time to get it all up and running again and I reinstalled and os4.1 FE on an ssd hard drive. During these preparations I had several times where the machine would not start at all. Then I discovered that when the machine was lying on its side, it always started and when it got up it only started a few times. I took a closer look at the battery and discovered that it was not properly fixed. I got it fixed and now the machine is 100% stable both standing and lying. Also, the problem I had with booting from a CD disappeared.
Now I get both a new sam640 and have got my x1000 back.
I'm happy.
Have a nice day

Thanks for your report. It's good to know that the battery is very often responsible for issues.
