Kernel 4.20

Hi All,

The first alpha of kernel 4.20 (5.0) is available for the X1000 and X5000.

New:
Download: vmlinux-4.20-alpha1-AmigaOne_X1000_X5000.tar.gz

Its really great, but why not "Upstreaming" x1000 kernel and making a support official in what is left of PPC64 Linuxes?

As shown on x1000 Debian 12 CD, CFE can boot a batch file pointing to kernel files on DVD as well as Debian installs support
CFE quite nice.

Also I dont get one thing. PA Semi is officially bi-endian, meaning the new LE Linuxes should work, like on IBM POWER platform.

What is preventing us from using it on x1000 and x5000?

Thanks for clarification, and kudos for unofficial support. But its a shame e.g. Peg2 is officially supported and AEON machines arent
